How Do I Use BluLeaf Naturals Products?
We suggest you start at lower dosage and slowly find your best dose. Why use more product than necessary? Here are our recommendations:
DROPS (tinctures) - Start with 1/4 to 1/2 dropper under the tongue once in the morning and again in the evening for adults (not for those under 18). Hold the oil under the tongue for 30 seconds before swallowing. Increase to 1/2 dropper per dose, as needed. Take time to learn what amount is best for you.
LOTIONS & BALMS - Apply a nickel-sized amount to the area of interest. Use as needed.
CBD GUMMIES - Chew as directed, KEEP FROM CHILDREN & PETS. DO NOT KEEP IN THE CAR; STORE IN A COOL DRY AREA.
KEEP IN MIND that gummies can take from 45-60 minutes to be effective, as they must go through the digestive system, whereas the drops, taken under the tongue, work almost instantly. Delta 8, found in our Medonist Relaxation Gummies, are psychoactive.
BATH BOMBS - Simply get your bath ready and drop one in! The longer you soak the better, so keep adding that warm water and soaking in the bliss!
Is BluLeaf Naturals CBD legal?
Absolutely! The United States Farm Bill of 2018 classified plants containing less than 0.3% THC as industrial hemp, making CBD legal in all 50 states. Our BluLeaf CBD products are produced under license from the Kentucky Department of Agriculture’s Industrial Hemp Research Program and can be shipped to you.
Will BluLeaf Naturals CBD products make me high?
Industrial Hemp is a non-psychoactive (low Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) .3 or less) variety of the plant cannabis sativa, and has no value as a recreational drug. However, our Medonist 'Relaxation' product DOES contain Delta-8, which is a psychoactive hemp product.
What is Hemp CBD?
CBD, or cannabidiol, is the prominent natural cannabinoid component found in cannabis. CBD is the cannabinoid that research claims holds the greatest therapeutic potential for improved health and is being researched constantly, and might offer a wide range of potential healthy uses. Make sure you use all natural organically grown CBD oils, and that your product, like ours, contains no synthetics. BluLeaf Naturals Complete Hemp Flower extracted Oil contains nothing but premium hemp flower extracted oil and fractionated Coconut oil (coconut derived C-8 and C-10 triglycerides only).
How do I store BluLeaf's products?
Our CBD products do not spoil as long as you keep the product lid tightly closed, as the oil has a shelf life of about two years. But if exposed to oxygen (by leaving the products open) the MCT coconut carrier oil could oxidize. Simply store your BluLeaf products at room temperature, away from high heat and strong direct sunlight. But keep that top closed please.
What is sublingual?
The sublingual glands lie beneath the tongue. When you put our drops under the tongue (sublingually), the gland receives it fairly quickly (hold the product there about 30 seconds or more before swallowing). Basically, when something is placed under the tongue it diffuses, and because of all the capillaries, has a pretty direct route into your bloodstream. The result is the oil working faster. It bypasses the stomach, intestines and liver, thereby going directly into your bloodstream.
How does it work?
Cannabinoids, including CBD, produce effects in the body by attaching to specific receptors. Humans produce certain cannabinoids naturally, and have two receptors called CB1 and CB2. Each receptor affects different parts of the brain/body. Hemp extracted oil effects the receptor CB2.
Why does it matter that BluLeaf is a Kentucky product?
Our products are made from USDA-certified organically grown Kentucky Hemp. Kentucky's hemp growing history shows that because of our soil/loam/minerals that Kentucky Hemp is the best. We use ONLY locally grown Kentucky hemp. The labs work closely with the farmers who raise our hemp, building close working relationships. Our products truly are 'Complete', creating synergistic effect for the most results.
Will BluLeaf Naturals CBD cause me to fail a drug test?
As a rule, no. But as with all hemp products, the possibility exists that a positive test for THC could happen. Full-spectrum CBD products should have only a very small percentage (<0.3%) of THC. Unfortunately, unregulated products on the market may contain higher amounts of THC than advertised, making it very important to choose a product, like BluLeaf Naturals, that has strict quality protocols and CERTIFICATES OF ANALYSIS (COA). Full spectrum (complete) CBD products have a very small percentage (<0.3%) of THC. Theoretically, if someone consumed over 1,000 mg a day (two full bottles of 500 mg drops) of full spectrum CBD, for several days in a row, they could possibly accumulate enough THC to cause a test to read positive. If a positive test for THC is your concern, we recommend trying BluLeaf THC FREE CBD oil which contains 0.0% THC. NOTE: Our Medonist Relaxation product DOES contain Delta-8, which can show a positive test for THC.
What is Fractionated Coconut oil?
Coconut oil is good for you; that's been proven time and again. MCT means 'medium chain trygliceride'. MCTs are so useful to our bodies, that we want plenty! MCT coconut oil has many benefits. For instance, it can offer antibacterial & antiviral properties, is easy to digest, helps suppress hunger, provides quick energy and may improve insulin sensitivity; these are just a few known/researched benefits. BluLeaf uses coconut derived C-8 and C-10 triglycerides only.
